Kettering & District Youth Theatre Group notched up their 31st production when Mother Goose opened at the Lighthouse Theatre in March 2008. .

The first ever show was produced in 1974. Over 50 Children are part of the cast each year and to get the show to the high levels the Group expect, over 100 hours of rehearsal time will have been clocked up by the time the show opens.

The shows have come a long way over the years and whereas the first show was staged for a few hundred pounds, these days it costs several thousand pounds to put on a production.
