Georgina Boon

Georgina, who is 16, has been involved with the group for 10 years. She is a member of The Royal Academy of Dancing where she studied ballet and modern dancing and now studies Tap. Last year she played the part of Wishee’s brother in Aladdin.

Sophie Blumire

An accomplished ballet, tap and modern dancer; Sophie has been dancing from the early age of 3 at the Jean Harris School of Dancing. She has been in the theatre group from the age of 5 and this is will be her tenth year in panto. Last year Sophie played the part of Aladdin.

Matthew Johnson

This is Matt’s second year with the group, having played the Ogre in last years show. He is 14 and attends Latimer Performing Arts College and lists his preferred subjects as Drama and Science. Last year Matthew played the part of Abanazar in Aladdin.

Kelly Russell

Kelly played the Principal Girl opposite Selena for the past two years. Kelly has attended the Nicola Green School of Dancing since the age of three and has performed with the Kettering Regional Dance Company. Her previous roles include “The Artful Dodger” in “Oliver Twist” at the Lings Theatre, Northampton, in 1995 and “Blousey Brown”, Bugsy’s girlfriend, in Montsaye School’s production of “Bugsy Malone”. Kelly has been in the last five pantomime’s with the Youth Theatre group. Kelly is 16 years old. Last year Kelly played the part of Slave of the Ring in Aladdin.

David Glover

David is 16 years old and this is his third year with the Youth Theatre. It is the second time he has played a Dame. David is another ex “Bugsy Malone” performer, having played the part of Ritzy, a Gangster. David enjoys dance too and has many performances to his name including a number at the McKinlay Theatre and Derngate. He writes science fiction and fantasy stories. Last year David played the part of Widow Twanky in Aladdin.

Selena Spagnoli

Selena’s has played the Principle Boy for the past two years. She played Tallulah in Montsaye’s Bugsy Malone in 1999. Singing is one of Selena’s great passions and she has made a number of public appearances including the school’s Arts Festival. Selena has her sights set on a career in world of drama, either as an actor or a teacher. She is 17 years old. Last year Selena played the part of Wishee Washee.
